Assoc. Prof. PhD Ivan Tsonev is born on 02 June 1949 in the village of Komarevo, municipal district Pleven. He has graduated Hihg School in 1975 in the High Military Artillery University "G. Dimitrov" speciality "Radioelectronics". He had been working as an maintanance engineer íà ÅÈÌ in the High Military Artillery University "G. Dimitrov" till 1980. From 1980 he is an assistant lecturer in Department "Air Defence" in the same university. From 1987 he defends dissertation in the Military Technical University in Sofia. In 1996 he had been elected for Associate Professor. He had been Vice Dean of the High Military University for Artillery and Air Defence "P. Volov" in Shoumen up to 2002. During 2002 he is chosen for Associate Professor in Department "Computer Sciences and Technologies" of Faculty "Mathematics and Informatics" of the "Konstantin Preslavsky" University of Shumen.
Assoc. Prof. PhD Ivan Tsonev at this moment is Counsellor of the IEEE Student Branch - Shoumen.
